Real estate

The outlook for the real estate market across the MENA region has been improving in some areas. This is mainly because business activity has started to see improvements as lockdowns have eased and stimulus packages have kicked in. This week, we focus on the real estate sector in Egypt and the UAE, looking at:

  • The unbalanced recovery in the region as consumer preference shifts toward online shopping and a working-from-home economy, holding back the revival of the retail and commercial property market;
  • The housing market’s trajectory with consumer drawn in by lower property prices and mortgage rates.
