Arabia Monitor is delighted to be invited to attend the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) 2018 Annual Meeting,  held in Mumbai, India on June 25 and 26, 2018.

The AIIB 2018 Annual Meeting will bring together leaders from all types of organizations and levels of government to share ideas and experiences for creating a sustainable future through sound infrastructure investment. Ministers from AIIB members, as well as participants from partner institutions, the private sector, civil society organizations and leading experts from a range of fields will join us to discuss and share recommendations on how we can address Asia’s infrastructure gap in an environmentally and socially friendly way.

Dr. Florence Eid-Oakden will be the moderator for the Asian Infrastructure Forum workshop 2 – 21st Century Infrastructure in the Middle East: A Closer View at Investment Visions and Development Plans (June 26, 1500-1630). The session will highlight the vision, economic context and plans of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Oman, and ongoing infrastructure projects under the supervision of the government and private sectors. It will also discuss current trends in historic privatization, cutting-edge technology undertakings and connectivity plans and broader visions by investors.
